CNCmarket.ca Inc. is pleased to announce the acquisition of Hillburn Machine Shop Inc., a Calgary-based machining business recognized for its excellent customer service and strong relationships with local industrial customers.

The acquired CNC machining operation will be run under the name Volk CNC. A dedicated website is coming soon. In the meantime, the new shop listing is available here: Volk CNC on Google Maps.
This acquisition supports CNCmarket.ca’s long-term goal of being closer to customers and strengthening technical support. Operating our own CNC shop gives us the opportunity to test metalworking coolants and cutting tools in real production conditions, not demo environments. This helps us validate performance, improve recommendations, and respond faster to customer requirements.
Our metalworking fluids and tooling distribution business will continue to operate under the CNCmarket.ca umbrella.
The newly acquired CNC shop will operate independently as Volk CNC, with a primary focus on maintaining the high standard of customer service for which Hillburn Machine Shop Inc. has been known. While the two business units will run independently day-to-day, the combined structure allows CNCmarket.ca Inc. to better support customers with practical machining experience and continuous product validation.
